About Me!

From a young age, I’ve always loved investigating stories and bringing them to life. In 8th grade, I created a short documentary about “hipsters in Brooklyn.” This experience ignited my curiosity and set the foundation for my affinity for storytelling. As I progressed through high school, I delved deeper into the realm of digital journalism, immersing myself in video storytelling classes and becoming a Channel Kindness Reporter for Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation. It was during this time that I realized my heart would always lead me on the quest for powerful narratives, regardless of the major I pursued.

My gravitation towards Film & TV as my preferred storytelling medium started after taking an Introduction to Film Studies course during my freshman year at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. After seeing the raw emotion conveyed by Renée Jeanne Falconetti in The Passion of Joan Arc, I was moved by how much heart can be told conveyed in a single scene. Witnessing the profound impact a single scene could have, I was moved by the immense power of film to evoke empathy. From that moment, I immersed myself in the world of cinema, familiarizing myself with different film genres, ranging from Japanese cinema, Italian Neorealism, and French cinema. I hungered for opportunities to contribute to the creation of cinematic moments that would touch hearts and minds. As a result, I eagerly pursued roles as a researcher for documentary projects and producer for various short films, seeking to bring these profound experiences to life.

Film and TV have a profound ability to transport us to different worlds, illuminate untold stories, and foster empathy and understanding. It is this belief that drew me to this profession, and why I am excited to see the industry evolve to embrace more inclusive stories. I am captivated by the opportunity to contribute to the creation of compelling narratives that challenge norms, ignite conversations, and bridge cultural divides.

I am fluent in french, and I hope to continue to pursue opportunities in media, particularly in production and development with a global perspective.
